Analog Photography
Christophe, the founder of CLG Consulting, dedicates some of his free time to analog photography, specializing in black-and-white images. He honed his skills at Berkeley University and employs vintage techniques to hand-color oil paint his photographs. Hand-coloring black-and-white photos is a practice that dates back to the days of daguerreotypes, predating Instagram filters by over 180 years. This art form gained popularity toward the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, with color lithographic postcards of popular tourist attractions and holiday destinations becoming fashionable, long before the advent of color photography.
